Luke Rockhold has been making a name for himself the past couple of years, climbing the mma ranks like a ravenous & experienced roofer trying to finish a roof before the skies open. Quick and precise has been this young guns rise. Winning the Strikeforce middleweight belt and coming off of impressive wins against the likes of Jacare Souza, Keith Jardine and Tim Kennedy.
However, something in the Pre fight interviews didnt sit well with me. It was the lack of respect Luke showed Vitor, not just a cliche, but a true fucking legend of the sport. Criticizing his TRT usage and his BJJ Blackbelt prowess. A mistake perhaps attributed to his youth you might say? Nah i dont think so. Disrespect and Arrogance has deeper roots and can only be corrected with decisive and strict discipline. With a force equal to that of a father disciplining his child with his belt, a black belt if you will. "I dont give a shit if he has a black belt.." were the comments made by Luke.

Listen you little punk, Vitor was fighting No Holds Barred matches when you were still a little baby sucking on your moms tit.
Show some respect or pay the consequences, as Luke quickly found out Saturday night.
The younger generation, has the internet priveldge & knowledge of all the worlds libraries and sages available to them upon the click of a mouse. Unfortunately there is still a missing link to the highest of powers and blood that runs generations that was built for combat against much tougher predators.
Vitor at the age of 36 looked more spectacular than Spiderman, as he set up and landed a text book spinning heel kick to Lukes dome en route to a JCVD Bloodsportish, shitty 80's karate movies knockout. Not too shabby for an aging fighter.
