Vitor Belfort Makes History as the First Fighter to KO Dan Henderson.

Epic night of fights last night, as is the case with alot of the UFC cards as of late. Dan Henderson and Vitor Belfort faced off years ago in Japans Legendary MMA promotion PRIDE. Dan Henderson took the first fight, now Vitor was looking for a little payback. They both came out of their locker rooms with the lights glaring, but their demeanours where polar opposite. Dan came out slowly, walking to the octagon with nerves trying to hide them behind the fake guise of a non chalant manner. Vitor came out joggin, smiling and exuding an infectious positive energy. The difference between faith and secularism my friends. Sure there is an 6 year age difference between the two but the main difference here was the disparity in the attitude of both.

Vitor seems to have found renewed vigor, one that elicits & demands a shot at the title. The first man to knockout Dan Henderson ever. It only took 77 seconds to do it. Impressive and Quixotic. Vitors faith seems to be paying off now after a string of notable losses to Anderson Silva in 2011 & Jon Jones later on in the same year it seemed that Vitor was good but not good enough to be the Champion. With Andersons dethroning mid 2013 it seems that Vitors string of highlight reel uber impressive wins will get Vitor another shot at the title very soon!

& as for Dan, ohh poor Dan... his years have caught up with him and i for one think he should have one more fight, go out with a bang and walkout into proverbial sunset.
