Not So Fast Anderson. Theres a Nameless, Shadowy Figure that Just Walked into the 185 Saloon. Enter: Chris Weidman

Nothing excites mma's loyal fan base more than the ushering in of an exciting new fighter.

Theres a new kid on the mma block and his name is Chris Weidman. When analyzing his performance against Munoz, masterful, explosive & cerebral are a few words that come to mind. Matrix like, as he moved like Neo through suspended time. He walked into the arena resembling a prepy college kid not knowing and understanding full well what he was getting himself into.

Munoz came in with a fresh hair cut, a bit too cool for school, with pink highlights and some blade knife like writing. Dopeness more fit for a 50 cent rap video.  A sly smile, a bit too cocky, like the win was already in the pocket for the all american wrestler. Dangerous territory for any fighter as any fighter not wanting to smell salt understands. Humility carries deep roots to feed a fertile mystical arsenal of ass kickery. Just ask any of the MMA Champions and their deep roots in faith and God.The result was Munoz lying a bloody mess after a super sleek & sneaky elbow from Weidman as he used Munoz's own momentum against him landing an elbow to meet Munoz's incoming haymaker royal flush on the nose. Munoz dropped like a cell out of Lithium & the unrelenting and vicious bombs to the face & head commenced, putting  into question the referees judgement and credentials.

Munoz received free facial surgery at the hands of the precise striking of this mma surgeon. Not sure if Munoz wants to thank him with a rematch.Weidmans freshness is much needed in this Anderson "Post Apocalyptic" Silva, desert  like division. Finally a predatorial arachnid worthy to tangle with the Spider in his own web. This kid looks clean cut and deadly. Insatiable Ambition is hiding behind that pretty boy appearance. A crafty intelligence, with the same athletic stats as Silva, Weidman looks promising. An octagon genius of jedi breed? We'll get a better idea of his prowess and potential once he steps into the cage with Tim the "Barbarian"  Botsch. A war will be waged on all fronts and i for one am looking forward to the pivotal one about to take place in wrestling's trenches.
